College Football Moneyline Betting Explained

Moneyline betting is a form of College Football betting that allows you to bet on the outcome of a game. To win the bet, all you need to do is select which team will win the game. The favorite is the team that is expected to win and is indicated by a minus sign (-) and the underdog is the team that is expected to lose and is indicated by a plus sign (+).

Most sportsbooks include overtime in their moneyline markets so you still win the bet if your team wins in OT. In the event of a tie, most sportsbooks will classify the bet as a “push” and your wager amount will be returned to you.

College Football spread betting is the most popular form of betting on games. The point spread is a handicap placed on the favorite team to even the playing field and make the betting more even. The point spread is the number of points that the sportsbook expects the favorite to win the game by.

For example, if Alabama were favored to win against the LSU by 2.5 points, the bettor can choose one of two options. Over/under NCAAF betting is a form of sports betting where you wager on the total number of points that will be scored in a given NFL game, and can also be known as a “totals” bet. The sportsbook will offer an over/under line which is the number of points they expect to be scored in the game, and you can wager on the combined number of points being greater or fewer than that total.

For example, if the over/under line is 45.5 points, you can place a wager on there being 45 points or fewer in the game by selecting the “under”, or you can place a wager on the “over” which would require 46 points or more to be scored in the game.
